We are inviting speakers and organizations from across DFW to share experiences, provide education materials on women’s issues, and explain the resources available to our attendees.
At the conclusion of our speakers, we invite you to march with us and let our voices be heard from the street!

The Yellow Rose Resistance (formerly 50501DFW) is a non-partisan grassroots movement led by volunteers to preserve and protect our democracy.
Our primary goal is to offer a safe and transparent community space to organize against encroaching authoritarianism. If you share these goals, we welcome you!
We are North Texans organizing for human rights, government accountability, checks and balances, and laws that apply to everyone regardless of wealth or influence. This administration is perpetrating the most egregious attacks on civil liberties and the pillars of our democracy in a generation. Constitutional rights apply to everyone in the country regardless of birth or citizenship status, including our fundamental rights to free speech, peaceful assembly, and due process.
Silence is compliance, and we must not comply.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not tolerate hatred toward queer, trans, intersex, or gender non-conforming individuals. If you cannot reliably keep those intentions out of our space, you will be removed.
Join us at peaceful demonstrations in locations across the DFW metroplex! These are the most visible signs of our work, providing our fellow Texans with safe, effective ways to show would-be dictators that we will not quietly submit to tyranny.

Help us drive the change we want to see in the world. We have used boycott tactics to great effect, and regularly organize demonstrations in response to breaking news. We do our best to target specific individuals and organizations who have the power to make change with specific, achievable requests.

We regularly organize and promote actions whose primary purpose is to attract the attention and inspire the action of our representatives, who can then make changes on our behalf. This includes petitions, calling and emailing reps, and mailing letters to federal and state institutions.

As an organization, we believe it is critical to communicate expert information about current events to our community. We keep in contact with medical, scientific, and economic subject matter experts to provide accurate information and resources.
The vast majority of the resources we’ve compiled can be found in our Online Resource Library, which is kept updated as we learn new information.
Any and all informational content put out by our organization, whether by speakers at an event, through social media posts, or through physical literature, is accurate based on our literature review and our subject matter experts. Sources are provided for information wherever possible.
Local elections are some of the most consequential to local policy, YRR aims to proactively support voters in the metroplex, and ensure that everyone we can reach has the resources they need to cast a vote in local elections.
