El Movimiento is a grassroots community movement building people power and community defense in Dallas. We bring together new and longtime activists, neighbors, and local organizations to educate, connect, and take action.
Whether it’s through our community defense teams, political education events like Ideas on Tap, public pressure campaigns, or joyful gatherings, we help people step into activism and collective care.
We use data, research, and community storytelling to expose injustice from ICE collaboration to housing abuses and mobilize Dallas for change.
